Jacob Whitesides
Jacob Whitesides
Humble, Gracious, and Genuine are just a few of the words you will hear fans use to describe You Tube Sensation Jacob Whitesides.

Whitesides is a singer songwriter from Knoxville, Tennessee. Jacob was first inspired at a Bluegrass festival in 2008, and ever since then he knew he wanted to do music for a living! Following the festival, Jacob set out to learn how to play guitar and sing. After playing around his hometown area of East Tennessee for awhile, two years ago, Jacob started uploading cover songs to You Tube as a hobby. Six million views plus later, here we are. He is now 16 and is having a blast traveling and meeting his fans known as “Whitesiders” all over the country.

Jacob is an experienced guitar player and singer who puts favorable twists on covers and is currently writing his own songs for an album in nearby Nashville with the likes of Ernie Halter and other Music Row elites. Jacob also loves to play other instruments such as drums, ukulele, and electric lead.

Jacob was voted Knoxville Tennessee's "Best Young Voice" of the year for 2011 in the junior voice competition for a good reason. In 2012, Jacob auditioned and made the first cut in the Fox Television music competition series X-Factor in front of judges Simon Cowell, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato and music industry icon L.A Reid. Since then, Jacob has been out on the road perfecting his craft playing a variety of shows, events, and festivals all over the US.
Nick Tangorra
Nick Tangorra
Nick Tangorra, 16, has always followed his brother. At the age of 6, he tagged behind with his bongo while his brother Rafe played drums in a traveling Colombian Folk band. As fate would have it, the band leader soon discovered Nick’s ability to sing and before long, Nick was front and center leading the band. He began singing songs in styles ranging from salsa and meringue to latin. Funny thing was, all the songs were sung in Spanish, “A language I didn’t even understand!” Audiences took notice and Nick quickly realized that, “I really loved to sing and perform in front of people!”

From there, Nick persuaded his parents to allow him to try his luck in musical theater. He landed his first audition for a role in the show “Bye Bye Birdie”. Over the next few years, Nick participated in over 50 community theater productions. It seemed the sky quite possibly might be the limit and sure enough….

The California entertainment industry took notice. Nick was recruited to move to Los Angeles to begin training with some of the best vocal and dance coaches in the industry. He was fortunate to have been taught by such giants as NappyTabs, Jamal Simms, Lindy Robbins, Steve Kipner and Toby Gad just to name a few.

Upon returning to New York, his brother Rafe proposed starting a new project, and the “Nick Tangorra” band began. Nick and Rafe started out by performing at small shows and local parties. Then, just as had happened before, Nick’s voice, stage presence and love for performing began attracting a lot of attention. Nick’s loyal fan base has been growing rapidly and they in fact have come to call themselves “Fangorras”.

Nick and Rafe brought friend and guitarist Will Ahrens into the group and have been very busy writing and recording for their debut album due out in February. They have been performing sold out shows continually. The three boys are very excited for all the opportunities they are receiving and the big events they already have planned.

Nick feels “he is living his dream” and knows he owes it all to his fans. He loves all of his supporters and wants them to know that he is working hard for THEM! “My fans are my life” he says, “I owe it to them to be the best I can be and I am so glad that WE are on this journey together!

These five young musicians from Central Jersey combine powerful, catchy melodies with meaningful lyrics that address the joys of their generation as well as the difficulties to come.

Dylan Holland
Singer, songwriter and guitarist Dylan Holland was born in Cincinnati, Ohio . Dylan grew up in a small, Cincinnati suburb, approximately 20 miles outside of the Queen City.

Although he has played guitar his entire life, he began honing his craft by posting self-made, home videos on Youtube and performing for his dedicated fans, who coined themselves “The Deezy Army”, on Blog-TV in early 2010. During his rise in popularity (currently over 120,000 Twitter Followers and 55,000 YouTube subscribers), Dylan auditioned and won the first ever “Teen Hoot” contest in Nashville, Tennessee where he met David Malloy, a Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and producer with over 40 #1 hits. Malloy produced and recorded Dylan's first single, "Tonight", released in January 2013.

Dylan writes all of his music and plans on releasing his first EP in the Summer of 2013. Shortly thereafter, Dylan will begin touring.

Over the past two years, Dylan traveled the country with his family performing at major events, including Nashville Hootenanny’s “Teen Hoot”, private parties, and in other major music venues. In November 2011, Dylan was recognized by Pop Star Magazine as being the “next teen mega crush."

Although his genre is categorized as “pop”, his songs are inspired by many genres including rock, rap, country, and R&B. Many artists fuel his inspiration, such as: Aerosmith, Michael Jackson, Justin Bieber, Jason Mraz, Cody Simpson, Garth Brooks, Chris Brown, JAY-Z and Adele.

Dylan has also performed locally in Cincinnati in support of the homeless and Pencil’s for Promise. He is also an advocate for the humane treatment of animals, as well as the National Anti-Bullying Campaign.
